I sketched a portrait of Michael when he was about twelve, I think, during an art lesson at Winslade School and still have the sketch. Only ill health prevented me making a copy and sending it on to him. Will try to remedy this in due course by uploading a copy here, if possible. I remember the day he drove his mother's car to school when he was about sixteen and the look of triumph on his face. Sad to hear of his passing and that, owing to a hospital appointment,  I will not be able to attend the funeral.
